Discover Dolce Crema

If you find yourself in the charming area of The Broadway, London SW13 0NY, and are craving a meal that combines warmth, comfort, and a dash of elegance, then Dolce Crema is definitely worth a visit. This quaint diner is not just about a meal, it’s about a cozy experience that feels like a home away from home, with food that satisfies both the soul and the stomach.

Nestled in the heart of the area, Dolce Crema is a charming spot that brings a touch of Mediterranean influence to the London dining scene. The restaurant’s atmosphere immediately invites you to relax, making it the perfect place for a casual brunch, a relaxed lunch with friends, or even a special dinner. The inviting decor is complemented by friendly staff, ready to guide you through a menu that’s as diverse as it is delicious.

The menu at Dolce Crema is carefully curated, offering a mix of comforting classics and innovative dishes that are inspired by Mediterranean flavors. You’ll find everything from crisp salads and hearty sandwiches to indulgent pastas and savory seafood. A personal favorite is the house-made lasagna - it’s comforting without being too heavy, perfectly balanced with layers of rich tomato sauce, creamy béchamel, and a generous portion of melted cheese. Paired with a glass of crisp white wine, it’s the kind of dish that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled onto a secret recipe passed down through generations.

Aside from the hearty mains, Dolce Crema’s starters and sides are also worth exploring. Their bruschetta, topped with ripe tomatoes, fresh basil, and a drizzle of olive oil, is the perfect light bite to kick off your meal. If you're in the mood for something more substantial, their grilled chicken skewers are tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned with Mediterranean herbs. These dishes set the tone for the rest of the menu, offering a delightful balance of freshness and rich, satisfying flavors.

What truly sets Dolce Crema apart, however, is its approach to customer service. From the moment you step in, you are greeted with warmth and a genuine sense of hospitality. The staff takes the time to explain the specials and offer wine pairings, making the experience feel personalized and well-catered to your tastes. It’s the kind of service that enhances the overall dining experience and makes you want to return for more.

Another reason to visit Dolce Crema is their commitment to using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Whether it’s the vibrant vegetables in their salads or the succulent cuts of meat in their mains, every dish is a testament to quality and sustainability. The restaurant takes pride in supporting local suppliers, ensuring that every ingredient is of the highest standard, which shines through in the flavor and presentation of the food.

For dessert, Dolce Crema offers a selection that beautifully complements the savory dishes. Their tiramisu is light and fluffy, just sweet enough to end the meal on a high note. If you’re craving something with a bit more indulgence, their chocolate mousse, rich and decadent, is the perfect treat to satisfy your sweet tooth.

It’s also worth noting that Dolce Crema is a place that caters to a variety of dietary preferences. Whether you're vegetarian, gluten-free, or simply in the mood for something light and healthy, there's something for everyone. The flexibility of the menu allows you to enjoy a great meal without compromising on your dietary needs.

It's clear that regulars and first-time visitors alike appreciate the consistency of the meals and the relaxed vibe of the space. The restaurant has built a reputation as a reliable and welcoming spot in the area, offering a dining experience that feels like an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

  • This café is truly a hidden gem in our neighborhood! My wife and I decided to try it for the first time this morning for breakfast, and we were thoroughly impressed. The food was delicious, the nice atmosphere and inviting—but what stood out the most was the incredible hospitality. The lady at the till was exceptionally kind and welcoming, making our experience even more enjoyable. Her warmth and genuine friendliness truly made us feel at home. We’ll definitely be coming back!

  • My favourite cafe in Barnes. My favourite bagel in the world is from here, the way you have always made the Salf beef bagel was absolutely perfect please don’t change it, I just bought one and you replaced the pickles with saurkraut and added cheese?! Hell nah! You make the best bagel in the world please don’t crust my dreams with this new imposter recipe. Thanks love ya xx

  • Amazing treasure in tastes. A symphony of flavours. Very friendly atmosphere. Clean, soft ambient and the kids love it. High quality organic eggs with bright orange not yellow yoke, meaning they are delicious. The bread was toasted sourdough and of high quality. Beans are cooked and not from a can. Asked for extra crispy bacon and gotnitnthe first time. Eggs Benedict are also highly recommended. Recommended at 5 star.

  • After trying their cooked breakfast I have to review them again. And once again they get top marks. They even accommodated my request to have different bread with my eggs royale. Delicious, remains one of my favourite places to visit on a weekend

  • Came for the traditional breakfast, as this is my first time in the UK and I wanted to try before I left. Selected this place out of many others in the area, and it was super worth it. Food was so delicious, and it was great for my first time having a traditional english breakfast. The sausage was flavorful, and everything else paired very well together. Had this earlier and I already want to come back again. Interior was also lovely.

  • This review is much much overdue. I used to regularly eat lunch here - amazing pasta - about 10 years ago possibly while working across the road. It’s great to see the cafe still there. Highly reccomended - if they at all need any more recommendations :-)
